THE STORY BEHIND THE ARTWORK
The sculpture is created from driftwood collected along the shores of An Bang Beach, paired with fragments of Chu Dau ceramics, a centuries-old Vietnamese craft tradition. By transforming these elements, the artist brings new life to what nature and time once left behind.
Adding to its uniqueness, small bronze fishes delicately placed along the horse’s mane evoke whispers from the deep blue ocean. They symbolize both the resilience of marine life and the eternal connection between humanity and nature.
